10Bet Sponsors West Bromwich Albion FCWest Bromwich Albion Football Club has a new sponsor in the form of 10Bet. The prominent online bookmaker recently announced it had become the football team's official betting partner.

This is the second club to be sponsored by the bookmaker; the first being Blackburn Rovers. A spokesperson said the major signing would lead to greater profitability. He added that the company was proud to support the club’s mission to regain its status in the English Premier League.

The site’s logo will appear on the club’s white and navy kit, but that is only the beginning. According to the spokesperson, the bookmaker will also offer Albion’s fans a range of special offers throughout the next season. This will go hand-in-hand with expected additional press coverage as well as other marketing and publicity.

Albion In the Spotlight

Also known as West Brom, the Throstles, and the Baggies, the club was founded in 1878, and is based in England’s West Midlands. The Hawthorns has been its home ground since 1900.

The club is no stranger to being English champions, nor is it unfamiliar with the Premier League. However, lost its ranking in the 2017-2018 season, and now plays in the English Championship. The club is also a five-time winner of the FA Cup, as well as the winner of the 1966 Football League Cup.

It spent an impressive 24 years in the highest division between 1949 and 1973. It fell from grace a few years later in 1986, and remained out of that division until 2002. Its traditional rivalries include fellow Football League founders Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa. Its kit has changed little over the years, and still features its distinctive badge showing a throstle on a sprig of hawthorn.
