Betsafe Signs Conor McGregor As Brand AmbassadorPopular online betting group Betsafe has a history of signing prominent sports personalities as ambassadors for its successful gambling brand. Now, in the latest news regarding the betting firm, Betsafe has revealed that it has signed famous MMA fighter Conor McGregor to a new sponsorship deal, making the sportsman the firm’s latest official ambassador.

This deal has come just before McGregor faces off against the infamous Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match set for August 26th. The sponsorship deal will cover the next 18 months, and will have Betsafe’s logo appear on McGregor’s shorts for the upcoming match – which is already attracting a huge amount of attention within the MMA industry.

Additionally, the betting company will also be featuring McGregor in a number of its future marketing campaigns, in an attempt to attract new customers to the MMA betting market and popularise the fighting sport as a premium channel for real money wagers.

McGregor ‘Honoured’ To Become A Betsafe Ambassador

Commenting on the new sponsorship deal, McGregor commented that he is happy to announce that he is partnering with Betsafe. It is an honour, the fighter said, for him to become an ambassador for the great gaming brand. McGregor noted that while real gamblers always know that the odds are against them, it is also evident that passion can often overcome these odds.

Nicola Fitton, Betsafe’s Managing Director, also commented on the deal, noting that her company is proud to announce the new partnership as Conor is one of the most well-known athletes in the world today, defined by his work ethic, talent, and persistent personality.

These, she said, are values that Betsafe reflects every day in its offerings. Thus, the firm believes that passion always overcomes the odds, and there is no sporting star today that embodies passion quite as much as its newest ambassador, McGregor.

Betsafe Adds Mcgregor And Others To Growing Sponsorship Portfolio

Fitton also added that it is a pleasure for Betsafe to be a part of ‘Team McGregor’, and that the company looks forward to supporting and working with the fighter over the next 18 months of their contract while he appears in many of its new advertising campaigns related to the big upcoming match.

McGregor is just another addition to Betsafe’s numerous new brand ambassadors, with the company recently adding Sarcens, Jimi Manusa, Cage Warriors and Tony Bellew to its sponsorship portfolio.
