Bwin has signed an official sponsorship deal with the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. Being one of Germany’s most celebrated football clubs, the new deal is expected to make the club a crucial partner for bwin for the duration of the contract.
The sponsorship agreement will span four football seasons, and bwin will serve as the club’s foremost partner and sponsor during this time. The group has also been awarded exclusive rights to Borussia Dortmund’s marketing and advertising campaigns too, which includes its signage that will be featured at its stadium and the ability for bwin to create proprietary promotions for its own website.
Bwin Granted Rights To Club’s Marketing And More
Thanks to the new deal, bwin punters can soon expect a range of promotions and bonuses touting the German football team and their games from their chosen betting provider. Bwin’s brand name will also be visible at Dortmund’s future games over the next few years, and even the team’s players may soon be donning branded jerseys to boost the viewership of their latest corporate sponsor.
Stephan Heilmann of bwin has commented on his group’s latest big deal, saying that bwin aims to involve Dortmund’s fans in its sponsoring as much as possible. The firm, Heilmann said, has a number of exciting and innovative ideas that will soon be put into motion, both inside and outside of the German club’s stadium.
Bwin’s Long-Time Association With Football Industry
Carsten Cramer, the Director of Sales for Borussia Dortmund FC, has also commented. The director noted that bwin is a partner that has a longstanding association with German football – more so than any other online betting firm in the industry.
Cramer also noted that bwin has entered into exclusive partnerships with several major football players in the European professional sporting scene over the past few years, making the company an excellent and fitting sponsor for its newly signed football club.
The Borussia Dortmund club was established over 107 years ago in Germany, and still plays in the country’s highest game league today. Currently, the club enjoys a spectatorship of over 81,000 avid football fans, who watch the team’s games at its home stadium Westfalenstadion which was constructed in 1984.
