Chelsea 2015/16 Premier League Betting Tips

The new Premier League season kicks off with a bang on August 8 and while the Manchester clubs have splashed the cash ahead of the big day, Coach Jose Mourinho has just tweaked his squad as they look to build on their title-winning 2014/15 season.

Mourinho has signed a new back-up goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and put faith in Radamel Falcao to re-find the form of his Atletico Madrid days as he is reunited with his former strike partner Diego Costa. But where will your money be going ahead of the big kick off?

Will Blue be the colour once again?

It comes as no surprise that Chelsea are the bookies’ favourites to lift all the domestic trophies, having won both the Premier League and the Capital One Cup last season. Mourinho rarely loses at home and Skybet make Chelsea 5/1 to go the entire League campaign unbeaten at Stamford Bridge, odds that may appeal to plenty of Chelsea fans.

No British side has beaten Manchester United’s treble-winning season of 1998/99 when Alex Ferguson lifted the European Cup and you can get odds of 100/1 with various bookies that Mourinho does just that come May.

Chelsea to win the Premier League 13/8
To win the FA Cup 5/1
To win the Premier League and FA Cup double 14/1

However, a number of bookies are offering odds of 6/4 that Chelsea finish the campaign without a single trophy which may be worth adding to an accumulator just in case?

Chelsea to finish the season with no trophies 6/4
Not to finish in the top four 12/1
To lose first three league matches 100/1

A golden boot winner

His hugely successful first season means that Diego Costa is second favourite behind Sergio Aguero in the race for the golden boot. Eden Hazard always pops up with a goal and he is 10th favourite with the bookies to lift the golden boot while Falcao and Loic Remy are both rated at 33/1.

Diego Costa to be the Premier League golden boot winner 11/2
Eden Hazard to be the Premier League golden boot winner 25/1
Loic Remy to be the Premier League golden boot winner 33/1

Has Jose fixed Falcao?

Plenty of the interesting bets for the new season revolve around the Monaco striker following his loan move to the Bridge. He looked off the pace on a number of occasions last season at Old Trafford. Will we see a repeat of his Manchester United form? Or will Mourinho’s magic see Falcao roll back the years?

Radamel Falcao to score 15 or more Premier League goals 9/2
Radamel Falcao to score five or less Premier League goals 8/1
Radamel Falcao to outscore Diego Costa for Chelsea 25/1

Fun Punts

There is also plenty of fun to be had with some ‘different’ bets for the new season.

John Terry to score five goals or more  4/1
Eden Hazard to be Chelsea’s top scorer 9/2
Chelsea to score in every match  10/1
Chelsea not to lose a game against Man City, Man United, Arsenal or Liverpool 16/1

Chelsea remain the team to catch, but there are enough doubts about the champions to ensure that we are in for an epic 2015/16 Premier League season.

Best of luck with your bets!
