Manchester United may face their toughest test of the season when they take on Premier League leaders Chelsea on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

United have been on fire lately, smashing city rivals Manchester City 4-2 on Sunday and beating Tottenham and Liverpool in recent weeks.

After a rocky start to his reign, manager Louis Van Gaal seems to have found a formation that suits his players. The Reds have climbed up to third place and are now pushing hard for second place as the Premier League season draws to a close.

Former United defender Gary Neville believes that the fixture at Stamford Bridge will represent the biggest test of Louis van Gaal’s debut season, however, the team’s recent performances have shown enough to suggest that they can get a result.

“The tests have been Liverpool and City,” Neville said.

“This is another test. They have proven themselves, but this is the best team in the country and to go to Stamford Bridge is the toughest test.”

United have taken 12 points from a possible 12 in their last four matches, with three of those being against their top rivals.

Chelsea have not been in their best shape lately, but despite that they are finding ways to score goals.

They waited until late before Fabregas scored the winning goal at QPR last weekend and are now undefeated in their last 11 League games. Now with seven more to go, and with a game in hand over their rivals, they will need positive results over the next two games

The Blues will take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium after their clash with Man United and if they manage to bag six points against the two, not much will stand in their way of the title.

Chelsea are set to be without leading scorer Diego Costa and Loic Remy is also a doubt.

Man United is waiting for an injury update on Michael Carrick who limped off during Sunday’s Manchester derby.

Robin Van Persie and Luke Shaw have both returned to training, it is however not certain that they will feature in Saturday’s game.

With both teams in form, Saturday’s game promises to be an intense and competitive affair. The Blues’ home advantage gives them a slight edge, but the Reds are brimming with confidence after their derby win.

The last time these two met it ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford and we suspect to see a replay of that performance on Saturday.

We are backing the draw priced at 5/2 with Paddy power with Didier Drogba to find the back of the net first priced at 9/2 with Betway.
