Chelsea may be confirmed champions but, with two matches remaining, Jose Mourinho’s men are determined to continue their top form.

The Blues head to West Brom on Monday with the Premier League title already secured, but they won’t give the Baggies and easy time of it at the Hawthorns this week.

Mourinho could use the game as an opportunity to debut young star Isaiah Brown in the squad but fans may also see a return of top striker Diego Costa as he recovers from injury.

West Brom play their final two games safe in the knowledge that they have secured a spot in the Premier League next season thanks to a 1-1 tie at Newcastle last Saturday.

Tony Pulis, who joined as head coach in January, pulled his side out of the danger zone and back up towards the middle of the table, with a thirteenth or even twelfth place finish on the cards.

Under Pulis the Bagies have taken 23 points from 16 League games, leaving Mourinho impressed by his opposite ahead of Monday’s clash.

“If I own and English club, I sign Tony Pulis” praised the Chelsea boss. “It’s as simple as that – he’s a guarantee to achieve what the club wants.

“He has never managed a club that wants to be champion, never managed a club that wants top four, he is always managing clubs that want to survive and want stability.

“Tony is mathematics. His record is absolutely amazing.”

Despite their turnaround this season, West Brom still have their work cut out for them against an aggressive Chelsea front line, with Costa set to play for the first time in six weeks.

Without Costa the Blues may have secured the title, but the remaining strikers Didier Drogba and Loic Remy only manage one goal between them in this time.

Mourinho will be without Ramires (illness), Kurt Zouma (knee) and Oscar (thigh). Ben Foster is the only sidelined played for Pulis, who is hoping that Saido Berahino will be the magic ingredient needed to defeat this year’s champions.

21-year-old Berahino has scored 12 goals in the League this season, helping the Baggies to ensure their survival and causing some speculation that he may be snapped up by a top team in the summer transfer window.

Despite concerns that the Blues may become complacent with the trophy already in their grips, we think the visitors will still dominate their opponents on Monday.

We’re tipping a 3-1 Chelsea victory at the Hawthorns, priced at 18/1 with Sky Bet and Saido Berahino to score for the Baggies, at 2/1 with Betway.
