The Current Team Standings
We are currently mid-way through the conference semi-finals where four Western Conference teams and four Eastern Conference teams are battling it out in a seven-game series against their conference opponent. In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors are up against the Houston Rockets. Four games in and the ties are scored at 2-all. The two other Western Conference teams, the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers are also tied 2-all after four games.
In the Eastern Conference semi-finals, the Milwaukee bucks lead the Boston Celtics 3 games to 1 while the Philadelphia 76’ers and the Toronto Raptors are tied 2-all.
Details for the Finals
The 2019 NBA finals are scheduled to start on the 30th of May, with the Western Conference winner and the Eastern Conference winner meeting for a 7-game showdown. Last year the Golden State Warriors took on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals. The Warriors needed just four games to win, defeating the Cavaliers in all four games at home and away. With the way they are playing this year, they have a good chance of retaining their title. The current odds for all eight semi-finalists are as follows:
